An e-commerce solution that leverages scraped technology specifications to help users "build" their ideal, hypothetical product configurations, validate compatibility, and then find the best individual components or closest pre-built options for purchase.
Imagine a world where you don't just buy what's available, but -create- your perfect product from its fundamental specifications. Inspired by 'Frankenstein,' this project, FrankenSpecs, acts as a modern-day alchemist, bringing together disparate technological "body parts" (specifications scraped from countless sources) to form a cohesive, desired whole. Like 'Inception,' it allows users to navigate layers of product reality, first dreaming up their ideal configuration, then "extracting" the blueprint, and finally guiding them to "manifest" it in the real world.
How it works:
1. Specification Harvesting (The Scraper): The platform continuously scrapes detailed technology specifications (e.g., CPU models, GPU architectures, screen types, RAM speeds, chassis dimensions, port configurations) from manufacturers' websites, tech review sites, and online retailers. This data forms a vast library of product "components," much like Dr. Frankenstein gathering his disparate parts.
2. Dream Builder (The Frankenstein Lab): Users access an intuitive web interface, acting as their personal "product design studio."
