Jedi Pricing Oracle

An RPA bot that autonomously tracks and compares prices of niche collectibles across various e-commerce platforms, providing timely alerts for optimal purchase opportunities, inspired by the scarcity and value of rare items in 'Nightfall' and the strategic acquisition of resources in 'Star Wars'.

Story & Concept: Imagine a lone entrepreneur, much like a humble moisture farmer on Tatooine, seeking to acquire valuable, rare items for resale or personal collection. They often find themselves competing with countless others, constantly scanning multiple marketplaces for that one perfect deal. This is where the 'Jedi Pricing Oracle' comes in. Drawing inspiration from the vast, interconnected network of information implicitly present in the Star Wars universe and the constant flux of value seen in 'Nightfall's' fictional worlds, this project automates the tedious process of price monitoring. The 'Jedi Pricing Oracle' embodies the spirit of a wise mentor, guiding its user to the best possible acquisition, minimizing costs and maximizing potential profit, much like Obi-Wan Kenobi guiding Luke Skywalker.

How it Works:
1. Scraping Module: The core of the project is an RPA bot (built using tools like UiPath Community Edition, Automation Anywhere Community Edition, or even Python with libraries like BeautifulSoup and Selenium) that is programmed to visit specified e-commerce websites (e.g., eBay, Etsy, niche collector forums, specialized online stores). It will be trained to identify specific collectible items based on user-defined keywords, product IDs, or even image recognition (for more advanced implementations).
2. Data Extraction & Comparison: The bot will extract key pricing data, including current listing price, seller rating, shipping costs, and any available discount codes or promotional offers. This data is then stored and organized in a simple database or spreadsheet.
3. Rule-Based Alerts: Users can set customizable alert thresholds. For example, a user might want to be notified if a specific collectible drops below a certain price, or if it becomes available from a seller with a rating above 95%. The RPA bot continuously monitors the scraped data against these user-defined rules.
4. Notification System: When an opportunity meets the user's criteria, the bot will trigger an alert. This could be a simple email notification, a Slack message, or a pop-up notification on the user's desktop.

Niche & Low-Cost Implementation: This project focuses on a niche market: collectors of specific items (e.g., vintage action figures, rare books, limited edition sneakers, retro video games). The RPA tools often have free community editions that are sufficient for individual use. The primary cost would be minimal for hosting if cloud deployment is chosen, but it can be run locally.

High Earning Potential:
- Arbitrage: Users can leverage the bot to buy low and sell high, profiting from price discrepancies.
- Subscription Service: Once perfected, the bot could be offered as a subscription service to other collectors or small businesses specializing in these niches, charging a monthly fee for the automated price monitoring and alert service.
- Affiliate Marketing: The bot could be integrated with affiliate links for certain marketplaces, earning commissions on purchases made through its recommendations.
- Data Analytics: The collected pricing data can be valuable for market trend analysis, which could be sold to businesses or hobbyists.
