Story & Inspiration: Inspired by -Inception- and -Nightfall-, the core idea is to tap into subconscious desires to suggest and visualize travel destinations. As in -Inception-, we're planting an idea (a destination) in the mind through an experience. The -Nightfall- reference comes from the idea of triggering a significant shift in perspective and desire based on a new sensory experience (in this case, AI-generated visualizations). The Music Metadata scraper project informs the data gathering process.
Concept: The platform starts by analyzing a user's music library metadata (artists, genres, moods, lyrical themes). This data helps build a user profile reflecting their aesthetic preferences, emotional landscape, and preferred cultural influences. This profile is then fed into an AI model (potentially a combination of text-to-image and style transfer models) to generate personalized 'dreamscapes' of potential travel destinations. These 'dreamscapes' aren't photorealistic representations, but rather surreal, evocative visualizations designed to appeal to the user's subconscious desires.
How it works:
1. User Input: Users connect their music streaming accounts (Spotify, Apple Music) or upload music files. The platform utilizes existing Music Metadata scraper APIs or libraries to extract relevant data.
